Every autonomous workflow needs a record.

As agents move from drafting to doing, companies need evidence of what happened, which rules applied, and where humans made decisions.

Audit logs provide a tamper-resistant record of important actions: who logged in, who changed configuration, who accessed data, who deployed an agent, who changed permissions, and when.

01

Why Evidence Matters

AI governance is not only about preventing bad actions. It is also about being able to understand work after it happens.

Companies need records that help answer:

  • What task was initiated?
  • Which agent performed the work?
  • Which model route was used?
  • Which tools were called?
  • What context was retrieved?
  • What did it cost?
  • Which approval gate was triggered?
  • Who approved, revised, or rejected?
  • What output was produced?
  • What changed as a result?
  • Who logged in, changed permissions, accessed data, deployed an agent, or changed configuration?

Audit Logs

QUI audit logs are designed to give enterprises a durable record of important system activity. They capture who performed an action, what changed, when it happened, and which workspace, agent, workflow, model route, memory, or configuration was affected.

Audit logs matter for investigations, accountability, security monitoring, and compliance. They help security and operations teams reconstruct events after an incident, review sensitive access, confirm who approved a workflow, and prove that policy-relevant changes were recorded.

03

QUI's Accountability Pattern

QUI is designed around visible workflow and controlled execution paths.

ThinkThing can show workflow structure and monitored runs. Anima binds actions to character identity. Core governs model routing. Mothership records managed cloud usage and billing. Services enforce boundaries around tool execution, channel replies, M2M communication, and hosted routes.

The result is not a black box agent acting alone. It is a governed process.

04

What This Enables

01

Review

Teams can inspect how an agent reached an output or where a workflow paused.

02

Improvement

Teams can refine prompts, memory, workflow logic, and approval points based on observed behavior.

03

Accountability

Teams can assign ownership to agents, users, workflows, and approval decisions.

04

Security Monitoring

Teams can review login events, data access, permission changes, configuration updates, and agent deployments as part of their security operations.

05

Compliance Readiness

Evidence makes it easier to build internal policy, audit practices, and risk reviews around agentic work.

QUI is designed around the security and AI governance principles reflected in ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001. Certification is planned; QUI is not currently ISO-certified.
